The Alvin is a 16 ton manned Submarine. It was commissioned on June 5 1964 and is still in use.		DSV Alvin
Past: fell of A ship and had to be salvaged.	Present:  Will finish the upgrades added.	Future: will be replaced by a much stronger version of Alvin.
Alvin has done a lot of research and salvaged many things. We will miss it when it is replaced. It can dive up to 4500m.
