What are the characteristics of a black and a white ruffed lemur?
This lemur has staring eyes that turn red in the dark. Their fur is long and soft, the colors and patterns vary. Its ears are hidden behind all its fur. They are primitive primates and used to be found all over the world but are now only found in Madagascar.
Location:
The Ruffed lemur lives in eastern Madagascar. It is a forest species found in humid rain forests.
Diet:
They mostly eat sweet fruits. They also eat insects, birds, bird's eggs, and sometimes small mammals.
