Speaking about the football season of 1962, Carlos quotes, "That year the Falcons were the last team in the state of Texas to be scored upon and it took the defending State Champion, Donna Redskins, to do it. We still beat them, 7-6."

Los Fresnos was the only team left in the state of Texas that had not been scored on up to the sixth week.
